Surfers Paradise is a busking haven. It is a cradle and showroom of the Gold Coast’s finest busking and street performance talent. Surfers Paradise is the liveliest epicentre of southeast Queensland’s street performance culture.
This coming Easter long weekend, get ready to see Surfers Paradise transform into a carnival of laughter and entertainment with the return of the Australian Street Entertainment Championships 2017.
This features both amateur and professional performers who are vying for your vote to be proclaimed the best of the best there is.
Professional street performers will amaze you as they reinvent and integrate snippets of their acts to craft exciting new improvisation live, right in front of your eyes!
Entrance is free and exit is by donation as the hat is passed.
The Australian Street Entertainment Championships 2017 will be on 14-17 April 2017 at Surfers Paradise.
